Modellen består av en konstnärlig verksamhet som, i linje med Kista Science City modellen, interagerar med platsen inom ramarna för en interaktiv och kollaborativ praktik. Genom att synliggöra och överta retoriken kring Kista Science City, återtas den gemensamma platsen. Projektet presenteras i konsthallen och tar även plats på Jan Stenbecks torg i Kista. |
The model comprises an artistic operation that, in line with the Kista Science City model, interacts with the place within the framework of an interactive, collective and collaborative praxis. By making this visible and by adopting the rhetoric of the Kista Science City, the common location is regained. The project is exhibited in Husby konsthall and at Jan Stenbecks torg in Kista. |

| Thomas Liljenberg (f 1952) tog examen från Konstfack, Stockholm, 1982. Som konstnär arbetar han främst konceptuellt och i en mängd material, från måleri till performance. Hans arbeten har ett fokus på sociala och politisk frågor. Sedan slutet av 1990-talet har Liljenbergs arbeten karaktäriserats av ett intresse för att undersöka alternativa vägar för konsten att reflektera, influera och interagera med samhället. Till stor del har detta tagit sig uttryck i långtidsdialoger med stads- och samhällsutveckling. Bland annat Kulturkontoret i Vårby gård och för närvarande Kista Art City. Utgångspunkten för projektet är den förändring begreppet plats genomgår i globaliseringen av samhället, och betydelsen detta får för lokala maktförhållanden.
